Terms & Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the services provided by Wild Things Dog Training LLC ("We," "Us," or "The Facility") to the client ("You" or "Client") for dog boarding, board-and-train services, private lessons, and evaluations. By using our services, you agree to these terms.

1. General Requirements

1.1. All dogs must:

  • Be up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, and bordetella (proof required).

  • Be free from contagious diseases, fleas, and ticks.

  • Be non-aggressive or have aggression disclosed in advance.

1.2. Owners are responsible for notifying us of any health, behavioral, or dietary needs before the first service.

1.3. We reserve the right to deny service if requirements are not met or if we determine the dog poses a safety risk to staff, other animals, or itself.

2. Dog Boarding Terms

2.1. Drop-Off and Pick-Up

  • Drop-off and pick-up times must be scheduled in advance. Late pick-ups may incur additional fees.

  • Dogs not picked up within 72 hours of the agreed pick-up time will be considered abandoned, and appropriate action will be taken.

2.2. Care Provided

  • We provide regular feeding, exercise, and monitoring as per your instructions.

  • Any additional care, such as administering medication, may incur an extra fee.

2.3. Personal Belongings

  • Personal items (beds, toys, etc.) may be provided but are left at your own risk. We are not liable for lost or damaged items.

3. Board-and-Train Terms

3.1. Program Overview

  • The board-and-train program includes boarding and structured training sessions tailored to your dog’s needs.

  • Progress depends on your dog’s temperament, behavior, and willingness to learn.

3.2. Client Obligations

  • You must participate in follow-up lessons to ensure the continuity of training after the program ends.

  • Continued success requires consistent reinforcement of training methods at home.

3.3. Liability for Training

  • We cannot guarantee specific results, as training success depends on factors beyond our control, including owner compliance and the dog’s unique behavior.

4. Private Lessons

4.1. Scheduling and Attendance

  • Lessons must be scheduled in advance.

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance, or the session fee will be forfeited.

4.2. Training Commitment

  • You are responsible for implementing training techniques outside of lessons.

  • Results depend on your active participation and consistent practice.

4.3. Behavioral Disclaimer

  • We will address behavioral issues as agreed, but some behaviors may require ongoing management rather than complete resolution.

5. Evaluations

5.1. Purpose

  • Evaluations assess your dog’s behavior, temperament, and training needs.

  • The evaluation does not guarantee acceptance into boarding or training programs.

5.2. Owner Obligations

  • Provide accurate and truthful information about your dog’s history and behavior.

  • Any omitted behavioral history (e.g., aggression) may result in termination of services without refund.

6. Health and Emergency Care

6.1. Medical Needs

  • All dogs must be in good health unless pre-approved for special care.

  • You are responsible for providing medication and written instructions for administration.

6.2. Emergencies

  • In case of a medical emergency, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you or your emergency contact. If unreachable, we will seek veterinary care at your expense.

  • We are not liable for the outcome of veterinary care, including injury, illness, or death.

7. Payment and Cancellation

7.1. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is due at the time of service or prior unless otherwise agreed.

  • Late payments may incur additional fees.

7.2. Cancellations

  • Boarding cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled drop-off will result in non-refund

  • Board-and-train cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to receive a refund (minus any non-refundable deposit).

  • Private lesson cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance.

7.3. Refunds

  • No refunds are provided for early pick-ups, missed private lessons, or failure to follow training recommendations.

8. Liability Waiver

8.1. We will take all reasonable precautions to ensure your dog’s safety. However, you acknowledge that:

  • Risks such as injury, illness, or escape are inherent in any environment involving animals.

  • You are responsible for any damage your dog causes to staff, property, or other animals.

8.2. We are not liable for injuries, illness, or losses unless caused by gross negligence.

9. Media Release

9.1. We may take photographs or videos of your dog for training records and promotional purposes.

9.2. If you do not consent to media usage, please notify us in writing.
